Spice of Life, 2025

07SH10AH23 - Tel Aviv

This series connect the past and present through a deep and complex sensory experience, focusing on the senses of taste and smell.

‏By using spices and extracts from fruits and vegetables, the experience extends beyond visual perception, directly engaging other senses—smell, taste, and the tangible feeling of texture. Scents and flavors possess the ability to traverse the dimension of time, evoking memories and transporting us to memories from the past. Through this, I aim to revive memories, deepen our connection to events, and convey pain and its ramifications not solely through words, but through a physical experience.

About 07SH10AH23 exhibition

07SH10AH23 is a revolutionary contemporary art exhibit scheduled to open on April 24, 2025, Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day), in South Tel Aviv. This exhibition, born from the national trauma of the October 7th attacks, aims to translate unspeakable pain into a visual language that resonates deeply. It delves into the emotional, cultural, and societal impacts of that day, questioning how art can encapsulate grief, shape memory, and provide space for reflection when words are insufficient.

More than just an exhibition, 07SH10AH23 serves as a cultural reckoning, a space for witnessing and reflection, mapping the fracture lines within Israeli society through contemporary art. It challenges viewers to confront memory with clarity and recognize the power of art to convey the inexpressible, reconnecting fragile bonds between people, linking past and present, and bridging devastation with hope.
